Experienced Engineers & Project Managers (UK)

At Zircon Software, we solve challenging engineering problems across a range of industries, developing high-quality solutions for desktop, embedded and web-based systems. As we continue to grow, we're keen to hear from experienced Software Engineers, System Engineers, System Testers and Project Managers who enjoy working on technically interesting projects and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Software Engineering
We're particularly interested in engineers with experience in one or more of:
- C
- C++
- C#
- Python
Experience in any of the following would also be beneficial:
- Windows/PC application development
- Embedded software development
- Web application development
- Machine Learning / Video Analytics
- Software architecture and design
System Engineering
We're interested in System Engineers with experience in areas such as:
- System architecture and design
- Requirements capture, analysis and management
- System integration
- Hardware/software integration
- Technical documentation and specifications
- System modelling and analysis
- Verification and validation
- Managing technical interfaces and dependencies
System Test & Verification
We're also keen to hear from experienced System Testers and Test Engineers with experience in:
- System-level testing and verification
- Test planning and test specification
- Integration and acceptance testing
- Requirements-based testing
- Automated and manual testing
- Test reporting and defect management
- Hardware/software system testing
Project Management
For Project Managers, we're interested in experience of managing technical projects, including:
- Planning and delivering engineering projects
- Managing scope, schedule, risks and dependencies
- Working with customers and technical stakeholders
- Coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Tracking project progress and delivery
- Managing technical and commercial priorities
What we're looking for
Across all of these roles, we're looking for people with:
- Strong engineering or project management fundamentals
- Commercial experience delivering real-world projects
- A passion for developing robust, maintainable and high-quality solutions
- A structured and pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- UK-based, with the ability to work from our office approximately one day per week
