Zircon has successfully completed a project to verify and validate the configuration data for a German rail control centre, following a modification of the track layout and signalling.

Changes were being made to one of the stations, involving moving a signal and associated routes and upgrades to several level crossings in the controlled area. Zircon Engineers were involved in performing static correspondence testing, dynamic data testing and dynamic regression testing to ensure that the changes to the data were ready for the deployment and commissioning.

A Zircon Engineer supported our client on site during the commissioning, performing the upgrade to the control centre software and also carrying out several reliability tests during the engineering hours.

The commissioning was a complete success, and our client’s customer was very happy with the smoothness of the installation.
